This beautiful home in Louisville was in need of a major update. The small kitchen no longer fit the family of fives needs. A transitional design style which includes elements of both traditional and contemporary design was used to create a warm and welcoming space for the family. The clients opted for a large eat in kitchen in lieu of a formal dining space. This kitchen provides tons of additional storage space in the cabinetry that surrounds the built in refrigerator as well as in the large island. The clean lines and the natural material of the flat panel cherry cabinets with a graphite wash balance each other out, creating an uncluttered but inviting effect.
By taking down a wall, the view to the beautiful golf course in their back yard was opened up and a large open space created. This home now has flow from the front of the house to the back with plenty of room for the entire family to enjoy.
