The owners of this home wanted to open up their kitchen by taking out a half wall leading to the family room. They also replaced a standard peninsula bar with a gorgeous leathered granite island. This added a tremendous amount of counter space for entertaining and prep work. To maximize their storage space, they installed a built-in microwave and lots of drawers right into the island.
Recessed lights as well as a beautiful decorative pendant and under cabinet & toe kick lighting keep the area nice and bright. The cherry cabinets have a beautiful toffee chocolate finish while the island and oven hood are maple with an amaretto finish.
